Lieutenant H.W Hewitt is known only from a set of Part II Orders which list him as part of the Coleshill Staff. He was a specialist quartermaster and so presumably was working in this role, perhaps as DAQMS.

Born in Portsmouth to Horace and Florence Hewitt the family move to East Stonehouse, Plymouth around 1911. His mother remarries publican Frank Bratemos in 1919 and she is recoded as his next if kin when he enlists in the Coldstream Guards as army number 2650556 on 16 Oct 1922.
He married Millicent Annie Bickers in 1937 in Peterborough.
