Force 136

Force 136 was the name given to SOE in the Far East. The name, Force 136 was adopted in March 1944. From its bases it ran operations in a wide area from India and Burma, down to Malaya (Now Malaysia) and beyond. These included a variety of seaborne operations including to the Andamen Islands in the Indian Ocean and into Thailand.

In 1946, Force 136 was wound up, along with the rest of SOE.
