Biography
Born in Barry, he was he son of Herbert and Mary, he married Eva Wilkinson in 1938. He enlisted in the Royal flying Corps in April 1917 where he is recorded as having dark hair, brown eyes and a fresh complexion.
He was Ordained as a Deacon Sept 1925. His first Curacy was Laugharne, Camarthanshire and from 1926 to 1930 he was at Christchurch Ebbow Valley. He moved to Llanddewi Rhydderch from his Parish in Crumlin in 1937.
