Biography
The original Sergeant of Nevern Patrol, Smith was later promoted to Lieutenant as Assistant Group Commander of Area 4. He was remembered by Charlie Shives of Milford Haven Patrol “The Nevern Unit was led by a Mr. Smith, who had a farm near the village. He was a very capable leader and thought a great deal of “Stokey” [Sergeant Lewis – Milford Haven Patrol].
