Sergeant William Fred Arnold
08 Jun 1903 - 14 Oct 1979
Biography
Mr Arnold, the lorry driver, was mentioned by name in Home Guard orders relating to an exercise where 7 men would attack Motcomber House. Presumably this was the Auxiliary Units. Mr Arnold was described as known to the local Home Guard, so perhaps had been a member before joining Auxiliary Units. The exercise was on 14th April 1941.
