Biography
The son of William and Elizabeth of Combe Down he married Irene Maud Crane. In 1921 he was a Police Constable boarding at Haywood Road, Pill, Bristol.
A WW1 veteran he served as Sapper 816 in 2nd Wessex Divisional Field Company Royal Engineers enlisting in 8 Aug 1914 he served in the BEF. He is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall.
