Career
Driver Mappin ended up in hospital after a car crash. The vehicle he was driving collided with a car driven by Captain Tracy which had swerved to avoid a pram being pushed along the road - a pram containing Major Oxenden's daughter. Driver Mappin was in Captain Anderson's private car with three other RASC Drivers and all 5 men ended up in the Stratton St Margaret's hospital, leaving Coleshill very short of Drivers!
