Biography
The son of William and Winifred Becklake he married Phyllis Squires in 1952. Brynsworthy Manor was originally his Grandfathers home. In the 1950s Stanley worked as a motor engineer in the garage at Bickington.

Other information
Stanley Becklake was a full time gardener and was slightly lame due to a accident years before. Some thought he may not have been an asset to the Patrol due to this but Bert Verney considered he could have been a dark horse.
