Howard Phillips would joke about the first issue of the Sten Gun being difficult to control and liable to go off and empty the magazine if shaken, only Sergeant Sidney Bragg was allowed to carry it.
The son of William and Louisa he married Lilian Hamlyn in 1939. Sidney is the brother of Auxilier Robert Bragg.
Sidney Bragg lived at Axtown Farm with his brother, Robert Bragg. Len German sold Axtown Farm to the Bragg family and they started another milk round up in competition with Len !
