Known as Ron, he and Monty Dymott both worked for Handy Lennox, a large garage in Chandler's Ford.
After the war he moved to live in Fareham. He attended the reunion of Auxiliers in 1995 at Coleshill and is believed to have donated two items to the Imperial War Museum, a trip wire spool and a crimping tool.
