Biography
Roger was discharged from Auxiliary Units to join His Majesty's Forces 18th February 1943. He went on to become a Commander in the Royal Navy. Towards the end of his career, Midgley was based at the Royal Naval Engineering College at Manadon in Wiltshire.

Roger won a Olympic bronze medal for Hockey in the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games.
