An earlier address was Newton Park. His telephone number at The Croft was 225. Captain Tommy George from Pembrokeshire recalled that Bobby once made a sham attack on a mill and "blew it to bits".
In 1958 he was involved with the failed rescue of a young boy from the River Daud.
