Biography
Robert enrolled in the Royal Navy in 1919 to serve for 12 years. He rose to become a Petty Officer but was invalided out in 1927. He was described as 5 foot 5 inches tall with brown hair, grey eyes and a fair complexion.
In 1939 he was lodging with fellow Auxilier Charles Adlam.
