Other information
Richard Hobbs: “I was in the Home Guard at Swingfield. I used to patrol for two hours every night and then sleep in a caravan across from the Three Bells Pub at Swingfield. One morning I was completely soaked and the caravan was swimming in water; so I went home. My home was only five minutes away. For this I was dismissed from the Home Guard. It was then that Cecil Lines turned up and recruited me".
