Sergeant Raymond Oates

Biography
The sons of George and Edith, Clifford and Raymond were brothers. Raymond married Pauline Metcalfe in 1939.
A one time player for Scunthorpe United and a Scunthorpe cricketer. He later became the Club secretary. He died in Tenerife while on holiday visiting his son David and was buried on the Island.
