Biography
The son of Charles and Elizabeth he married Sarah Robinson in 1917.
A WW1 veteran he served as Sergeant 8326, 17335 in Lincolnshire Regiment, Machine Gun Corps. He served in the BEF in 1914 and was awarded the Military Medal.

Made to Sergeant 31st December 1941. Percy Hand was originally in Caistor Patrol but may have left due to promotion in Dec 1941 or left to join or form Grasby Patrol when Caistor was disbanded in June 1942.
