Career
Left the Patrol 6th November 1942 to join the Royal Navy, by this time his older brother and Father had been killed in action. He was awarded the Imperial Service Medal in 1984 on his retirement from the postal service.
He donated his lapel badge to the local museum.
He married Barbara May Caddy in 1952.
