Biography
He was the brother of Henry and the son of Ephraim and Eleanor (nee Handyside). His Father was widowered with a young family by 1911 at Healey Farm which was the family farm. Matthew went to live with his Grandmother and Uncles at Gallowshaw Farm and was where Matthew died.
