Served as a Private in the 5th Gordon Highlanders in 1914, Wounded in 1917. He was one of 5 brothers fighting in WW1
Married Charlotte In 1919, prior to war he worked in a tailors, when married he was a machinist in the local toolworks.
He became a barber and worked in the shop at 35 Mid Street.
A keen amateur Boxer, golfer and bridge player he was also an amateur actor.
Died aged 63 in Fraserburgh.
