Driver IC Houseman
Biography
Remembered by Sergeant Eric Gray as one of the members of staff during his time at Coleshill House between May 1941 and April 1943.
The only Driver Houseman to claim WW2 medals was John Raymond Houseman, T/157687, who was from York and subsequently served in the 8th Army in Africa and Italy. There was an FA Houseman T/10678728 but he did not receive the Defence Medal suggesting limited service in the UK which would not be consistent with being a part of Auxiliary Units. If you are able to help confirm if either man was or was not linked to Auxiliary Units, please get in touch
