The sons of Henry and Susan, Henry was the brother of Auxilier Jack Laity. He married Annie Roach in 1926.

Daughters Ann and Mary recalled their father telling them that the Patrol had enough explosives and ammunition stashed in a secret dump in the parish "to blow up the whole of Penwith".
Known as Harry he later became a Justice of the Peace of Porthcurno.
