The 1939 ID number on the nominal roll was recorded as his younger brother's Hugh as FHRA 46/7. Harry was FHRA 46/5
Harry was discharged from the Auxiliary Units due to ill health during the war and died in 1943 at Home Farm. He was replaced with his brother Robert Stanley Darling.
The sons of Thomas and Annie (nee Bradley) , Francis, Robert and Henry were all brothers, Home Farm was the family farm.
