The son of Albert and Annie he married Evelyn Snell in 1916.
George emigrated to America in May 1908 residing in Jackson, Beaverhead County, Montana where he became a rancher. He was described as 5 foot 6 inches tall with a fair complexion and brown hair and eyes. He returned due to WW1.
