Mr George Bee
16 Apr 1881 -
Biography
George Bee was given one of Dr George Armour's two Red setters called Sally. Already a trained gun dog, she was taught to swim the River Witham to deliver messages either to or from an observer at Metheringham Fen or Martin. He bred and sold Golden Retrievers and Red Setters, so may have sold the family the dogs originally.
