Known as Ted he is not recorded on the nominal roll as he joined the Royal Navy before it was complied in 1942. He worked at Harvey & Co at Garras Wharf before the war.
On D-Day he was on His Majesty's Motor Launch (HMML) 345 patrolling Juno and Sword beaches.
