Biography
Born in Cosford district in Suffolk, Frank Hugh Hollex was the son of Frederick Charles Hollex (1884-1918) and Ethel Rose Mills (1885-1981). In 1939 he was at home in Suffolk with his mother and working as an errand boy.
Frank married Vera Joyce Hayward in 1950 in Sturminster, Dorset. In 1939 Vera was living at Stourton Caundle Lane, Stalbridge Weston, Dorset, attending school and living with her parents Edward and Caroline and brother Victor. Edward and Victor were also Auxiliers in the Patrol.
He is buried at St Peters Church, Stourton Candle.
