Eric Kensington was born in Guildford to Edward Kensington and Elisabeth Hemmings.
It appears that the family moved to Tintinhull in about 1921, Edward, Eric's father, worked for Mr Tavener and then Mr Howard at Tintinhull Court House as a Groom/ Chaueffer and later as a gardener living in the flat over the garage.
Eric married Lillian M Jean Lake 1949, and they had one daughter, Elizabeth Jane born 1950.
Eric died on the 10 Nov 1974, aged 54, his address was Courtlands, St Margarets Rd, Tintinhull and his ashes were buried at the family plot in Tintinhull Churchyard.
Eric worked for Westland Aircraft as a maintenance manager until his death.

His daughter, Jane Meadowcroft (Kensington) recalled that he was very secretive about it and rarely spoke of it. When he died they found a dagger, a revolver and a pistol which were handed into the Police. She also remembers a book he had called "The Last Ditch" by David Lampe.
