Ed Maultby went to the SAS. He was called up to the Army twice. The first time he was away for 9 days before being returned to the Auxiliary Units. The second time was in 1943, this time he joined the SAS. He ended up in Norway serving alongside Cottingham North Auxiliary Unit Sergeant Harry Nicholson and a couple of Auxiliers from Wales.
Ed Maultby was a Grocer and later lived in Haxby near York. The son of John and Frances, he died in Yoro, Honduras aged 83.
