Douglas is not recorded on the nominal roll. His obituary records his service in the 203 Auxiliary Units during WW2. He also worked at the Climax Factory and Engineering Works along with many from the Patrol. He later moved into farming. He had been an enthusiastic sportsman. John Horler is clearly recorded as representing Auxiliary Units at his funeral.
