Biography
The sons of Herbert and Ethel (nee Trehearne) Denis Kirk MRCVS and his brother Maurice Kirk MRCVS were the second two Veterinary Surgeons in the Patrol. Both transferred out in April 1943. They both worked for Messrs Saunders, Kirk and Kirk of Bridge Street, Taunton.
Denis Kirk had an aeroplane and post war became known as the Flying Vet by using it to visit farms. In 1979 he was banned from driving due to unsafe towing of a plane through the city of Wells.
He married Violet Jenkins in Croydon in 1938.
