Charlie can be seen in his TA (Territorial Army) / Home Guard uniform. He has a 1922 (Other Ranks) woollen service dress cap with Dorset Regiment badge, and a 1903 pattern leather belt used by Home Guard. Thus he could be in an administrative or instruction role.
