Albert the Corporal of Fowey Patrol
The son of Harry and Clara, he married Selina Cocking in 1921. They were involved with St. Fimbarrus Church and the Woman's Royal Volunteer Service. Albert became a Governor of his old school after the war.

In 1907 he received signed books as prizes in Maths, English and Science from the Lord Mayor of London, Sir William Treloar.

Albert was a near neighbour to Auxiliers Fuge, Farley and the Robins brothers and worked alongside them in Fowey docks. A First World War veteran he served as Sergeant 24295 in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry in a Pioneer Battalion from 1915. He was transferred to the 10th Pioneer Battalion in 1916, spending periods seconded to work with the Royal Field Artillery, presumably on gun emplacements.
