St Monance is a small village in the East Neuk of Fife, located just over 12 miles south of St Andrews. St Monans is a common alternative spelling for the village.

The OB was built on the edge of the graveyard of Balcaskie Estate Church. Nothing remains today.
St. Monance Patrol
Obvious targets include main roads, crossroads and rail lines, along with other opportunist targets and assisting other nearby Patrols.
Training was conducted at Melville House regularly by resident Scout Section from the Royal Scots. More local training was carried out at a local rifle range and a quarry for demolition instruction and training.
