Hatcliffe is a small village in rural North East Lincolnshire, situated 6 miles south-west from Grimsby.

The OB was in Deep Dales Wood in the area of Croxby Pond Plantation to the south west of Hatcliffe. It has mostly collapsed with only the block walls remaining.
Hatcliffe Patrol
Wellingore then Blankney and Dalby Hall were the headquarters for the Lincolnshire Auxiliary Units so they certainly would have trained at them at some time.
Reportedly the Patrol had a number of barrels of poison ready to render the town water supply unusable after an invasion.
