Station description
The Zero Station at Scotch Corner was manned by the ATS. The exact location is unknown. It was likely located to be near the X Corps Headquarters at the Scotch Corner Hotel.
In her diary Beatrice Temple recorded; September 1 1942 - Captains Shanks and Farrer at Scotch Corner – much discussing. Lunch with Capt Farrer – returned to Hut – drive to Newcastle.
Mar 23 1943
South Dalton – Ronald on leave, Pratten in bed, lunch with Moss. Scotch Corner – message to ring up Coleshill House at once – no telephone so on to Darlington. Got through from Signals Section – nothing vital.
