The Operational Bases was / is located in woodland near Leysmill. The land is owned by Kinblethmont Estate owned by Robert Ramsay (the family of Major R.O. Ramsey, the Area Group Commander).
Whilst ferreting , local boys William and Jim had to dig out a ferret. They accidentally uncovered the Operational Base which contained tins of food and rudimentary furniture.
