Sid Rolph recalled the OB site as being in Wilton Hill Wood or Brandon Fields as it is known locally.
Lakenheath Patrol
Military targets would have included RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell
Other targets which would have disrupted supply routes would have included; the Little Ouse river crossings, the Ely to Norwich railway and the roads through Thetford Forrest with the major cross roads at Brandon and Thetford
Various land drains in the area ie: Wangford Drain, the Patrol could cause serious disruption in the area by flooding the flat countryside.
Some of the Patrol went to Coleshill House for specialist courses.
The Patrol would have trained locally around Thetford Forest and at Cawston Rifle Ranges.
