Operational Base (OB)
The first OB was under a derelict cottage. Although built toward the top of a slope, this OB frequently flooded and was abandoned. The short escape tunnel exit was concealed under a log pile.
The Patrol's second OB was built half a mile away in woods. Unusually this OB was L-shaped, with entrance (possibly a shaft or trench), a main chamber, then a 90 degree turn to the right, a second chamber and then the escape tunnel leading to a vertical shaft.
