Beeston Hall, Norfolk

Beeston Hall was the Headquarters for Norfolk Auxiliary Units between May 1941 and 13th August 1943.

In the 1940's the Hall was owned by Sir Thomas Preston who spent most of his time overseas. He was succeeded by his son Sir Ronald Preston who served as a Major in the Intelligence Corps and was a member of S.O.E.
