County
Information
Conversations with Mevyn Powney, Midsomer Norton Patrol, who visited premises identified as a shop known at the time as Mary’s Gown Shop, 15 Milsom Street, Bath suggests that this was a meeting place for Patrols of Group 2. This is supported by the fact that Sergeant Arthur Giles of the Bathampton Patrol married in Dec 1945 Betty Pauline Bray. Her mother was Mary Bray who owned Mary's Gown Shop. Although as Lieutenant William Hornett lived at 15a Milsom Street in 1940 it was most likely him they were visiting at the premises.
